Tydes of Chaos
Work Type: Half Life 2 Modification | My Role: Lead Artist
Tydes of Chaos; a total modification for Half Life 2 Episode Two, is a 3rd person, post apocalyptic, war themed action shooter.
The world is run by three main political leaders who control an army using a networking system controlled with specialized devices. They have begun a quest for global Cleansing. The main character of the game is one of the inhabitants of the hidden underworld of slums and refuges, built into the debris and shattered remains of the former cities.
The army, whom the political leaders rule, are DNA modified soldiers who have been instructed to eradicate all who are on the death list and to seize any deemed worthy for breeding.
After an attack on the very place you call home, your sister is taken away and you must find a way to retrieve your only living relative and survive the onslaught of the attacking soldiers
As lead artist for this project I was in charge of all art production and implementation of the project including:
*Visual style and presentation of game
*Character and world concepts
*In charge of a six man art team.
*Game Hud
*Visual style and presentation of game.
*Custom Character Models, Assets, Textures, Rigs & Animations
*Setting up successful art workflow
*Teaching Art team texturing, animation and rigging methods.
